Tony Collins Cifuentes has dedicated his life to helping young people succeed.   He is an outstanding youth advocate and civic leader and is the founder of Highlander's Boxing Club in Highland, California.  For over two decades, he has been fighting for change in his community, especially for children and youth impacted by youth gangs, drugs and crime.  Through Highlander's Boxing Club (HBC), hundreds of young lives have been saved and turned around.  Many of them have participated in HBC programs that integrate positive youth development into boxing, health and fitness. Tony is a trained positive youth development specialist that oversees all of the youth program and ensures youth are thriving. When he is not working with youth, Tony organizes and leads several community events such as holiday toy drives, turkey giveaways, heath and wellness campaigns, COVID 19 information and safety supplies distributions, events for community waste recycling including electronic waste and has organized ongoing community clean ups.  He has also co-authored a book with his sister Sandy on his traumatic childhood and the journey toward recovery.  The book should be out by the end of 2022.  Tony is also a motivational speaker for young people and continues to be a mentor to kids, especially those that are pursuing life goals in sports and athletics.  He is a husband to Desiree of over twenty-five years and has six children and one grandchild.  He is an athlete, loves to be with his family including his dog Zeus and is inspired to become the best Community leader ever…
