Chamber Benefits

The Highland Area Chamber of Commerce is a powerful force for our community. We strive to help businesses in their efforts to be successful. We work hard at offering ways for businesses to promote themselves. We are always here for our community, making Highland a great place to live, build and do business.

The following are just some of the benefits of being a chamber member:

  • Monthly Newsletter - Keeps members informed of chamber events.
  • Monthly Luncheons - Always on the 4th Tuesday of the month and are held at chamber member restaurants. This is one of the best events for members to meet others and exchange business cards.
  • Annual State of the Community Luncheon - This luncheon offers updates from key community leaders on the progress of Highland.
  • Quarterly Breakfasts/New Member Orientation - The breakfast offers an opportunity for new and long time members to learn more about what is going on in and around the City of Highland and the Chambers involvement.
  • Mixers - Hosted by member businesses, and mixers held in conjunction with other area chambers offers excellent opportunities for networking. Members businesses are encouraged to host one.
  • Ribbon Cuttings - Available for new Chamber members to welcome their business to the Highland area.
  • Newspaper Coverage - Chamber has a monthly newsletter in the Highland Community News along with a good working relationship with all local papers.
  • Chamber Referrals - Chamber gets lots of calls asking, "Who to call?" and about your business. The Chamber only recommends chamber members.
  • Seminars and Workshops - Information is always available that can help you with your business.
  • Annual Events - Golf Tournament, Fourth of July Parade and Discover Highland Night are great ways to meet people and promote your business.
  • Highland City Map - Great way to advertise your business on 2000+ maps.
  • Sponsorship Package - Supports the chamber and is a great way to advertise your business.
  • Business Directory - Delivered to Highland residents and is the business and information phone book for Highland. All members should take advantage of this opportunity and advertise.
  • Membership Plaque - Should be displayed prominently in your business.
  • Coffee Hours - Great opportunity to sponsor and meet new people.  
  • Annual Installation Dinner - Installation of Officers and presenting Community Awards for outstanding works in the community plus networking with your friends and neighbors.
  • Featured Business of the Month - New this year. Allows a business to sign up and speak at a luncheon about their business. It also gives extra coverage to that business.
  • Display Brochures & Cards - Chamber has table and business card space for you to display your business information for office traffic.
